PageTurn collects nothing. Your documents, highlights, notes, and reading activity never leave your device. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no third-party data sharing — by design.
Let's keep this simple. I build software based on a single principle: your data is yours. Period.
PageTurn, like every app in the VextoApps family, is designed from the ground up to be private-by-default. I believe you shouldn't have to trade your personal information for useful tools. This policy isn't about what I do with your data; it's about how I've built PageTurn so that I can't collect it in the first place.
It's a short list:
Everything you do in PageTurn happens directly on your device — your phone, your tablet, your computer. All of your data — your documents, highlights, notes, bookmarks, and settings — is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB.
Think of it like a digital bookshelf in your own home. It's yours. I can't see what's on it, and no one else can either. When you delete the app's data from your browser, it's gone forever.
You have complete control over your data. From the settings menu within PageTurn, you can:
Download a complete JSON backup of all your data at any time.
Load a backup file to restore your setup on a new device.
Permanently wipe all of your PageTurn data with a single click.
If you choose to submit feedback or a bug report through the provided links (which go to a Tally.so form), that interaction is governed by Tally's privacy policy. The information you submit is used solely to improve the app and is not connected to any in-app data.
As PageTurn evolves, I may need to update this policy. If I do, the changes will be posted here, and they will always remain true to the core philosophy: your data is yours.
